December 9th-11th

Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C.

Hosted by XQ Institute and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, Exchange24 is an invitation-only convening aimed at reaffirming education as an urgent national priority. Together, we can explore and pursue good ideas, wherever they come from. We can surface authentic, engaging, and effective strategies to transform teaching and learning. And we can rethink, redesign and, ultimately, realize a new architecture for high school education in communities across the nation.

The United States was the first country in the world to declare high school education a universal right and we continue to believe that the future of our country is inextricably linked to the future of our young people. Exchange24 is a chance for us to blaze a path forward for high school—one that gives students the rich blend of knowledge and skills they need to succeed in college, career, and life.

Watch highlights from Exchange24 to reflect on the experience and draw inspiration to fuel your work.

“

It is past time to make engaging, rigorous and experiential learning the norm, for every high school student in the nation. Families want it. Educators want it. We know what it takes. Acting together, we can consign our pre-industrial model of schooling to history, and ensure all young people have the opportunity to lead healthy, dignified and fulfilling lives. The time is now.

”

- Timothy Knowles, President, Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching

“

We are at the threshold of a new era—one in which we understand that the future of our young people and the future of our economy are deeply intertwined. High schools are at the heart of this connection. We need to move beyond divisions and come together to ensure every student is equipped with the full range of skills they need to succeed.

”

- Russlynn Ali, Co-founder and CEO, XQ Institute
